“Radical Obedience”

We have been created to live lives of radical obedience that bring glory to God. Radical obedience begins with a proper view of God. It is the wisest choice for a Christ follower. Radical obedience brings glory to God. And it will change the world.

“Still Amazing!”

Only from the position of being shattered and crushed can we stand up and say “Isn’t God’s grace incredible?” The shed blood of God’s perfect son allows us to have a positionally perfect relationship with God, to be a child of the King.

“Face Down”

God often brings us to a point of crisis to shake us from our spiritual slumber. We won’t experience God’s grace and mercy at the level He intends for us unless we pause at the moment at which we realize that we are sinners — the “woe moment” of Isaiah 6:5. When we are truly aware of our sinful condition, what is our response? Repentance.

“Shattered”

In Isaiah 6:5, the prophet Isaiah caught a glimpse of God. Isaiah’s response was “Woe to me! I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclea lips …” Isaiah’s message was that we all are sinners. We are born with a sinful nature, and have wicked hearts, despite what our culture would have us believe.

“The Throne Room”

Our understanding of God’s love, grace and mercy must begin with an understanding of his holiness. Our view of God will affect every other area of our life. In Isaiah 6:1-4, God allowed a crisis time to come to the people to shake them from their complacency. Then He provided them a glimpse of His holiness.
